Selling on eBay

Prepare your eBay defaults so SECND can publish each item with the right policies.

Last updated 2026-08-24

In short

Connect eBay, then choose a listing site, payment policy, return policy, fulfillment policy, and ship-from location. SECND needs all five before it can publish.

Before you list

Start with a registered eBay seller account, then connect eBay. Create the policies and merchant location you plan to use in eBay before selecting them in SECND.

Business policies

Open eBay in Integrations and select your listing site first. Then choose one payment, return, and fulfillment policy for that site, plus the location your items ship from. SECND applies these defaults to new eBay listings.

Heads up

Changing the listing site clears your policy selections because eBay policies belong to a specific site. Choose the three policies again before listing.

Listing format

Choose Fixed price for a normal buy-now listing. If you choose Auction, set the auction duration, starting bid as a percentage of the listing price, and an optional reserve price percentage.

Offers

Turn on Accept offers to let buyers send offers on new listings. You can also set percentages for automatic acceptance and decline. See eBay offers for the full setup.

Item settings

Country of origin can stay off, use each product's Made in value, or use one default country. Pick the option that matches the product data you keep in SECND.

If a policy or location menu is empty, add that record in eBay first, then return to SECND and refresh the integration settings.
