Measurement Settings

Choose measurement fields, units, and the format used in listing descriptions.

In short

Choose the fields you record for each product category, decide how they appear in descriptions, and set the length unit used for new measurements.

Fields by category

Open Measurement fields

Open Listing Manager → Measurement fields.

Select a category such as Tops, Bottoms, or Shoes. Enable the measurements you want SECND to collect for that category. You can rename a field or add a custom one when the standard list does not match your intake process.

Note

These settings control which fields appear on new listing work. Existing product measurements remain on the product.

Description format

Choose Inline, Block, or Bullets. This controls how the measurements placeholder is written into a generated listing description. It does not change the stored measurement values.

Measurement units

Open Listing Manager → Units. Length controls garment measurements and package dimensions. Weight controls package weight.

A new unit becomes the default for future entries. Review an existing product before assuming its saved values were converted.

Measure from photos

Photo measurement setup is available in the mobile listing camera. The web settings still control which fields and description format the listing uses.
