Listing Settings

Listing Defaults

Pre-fill condition, age, and source on every new listing.

Last updated 2026-09-12

In short

If most of your inventory shares the same condition, era, or source — say a Y2K shop where nearly everything is deadstock from the 2000s — set those once in listing defaults instead of picking them by hand on every item.

Set your defaults

1.

Open Listing defaults

Open Listing Manager → Listing defaults in settings.
2.

Choose your usual values

Pick a default condition (e.g. Like New), an age (e.g. 2000s), and any source tags that describe most of your inventory (e.g. Vintage + Deadstock). Leave a field on No default to keep filling it per item.

Note

Defaults are configured on the web app, but they apply to items you create from any device, including mobile.

How defaults apply

Defaults fill a field only when it would otherwise be empty. They apply when you add items — single listings and bulk photo uploads alike — so new items arrive with condition, age, and source already set.

Anything you or the AI already filled in stays untouched, and listings imported from a marketplace never inherit defaults — imported data always wins.

Changing a single item

A default is a starting point, not a rule. For the occasional item that differs — a 1990s piece in a 2000s shop — just change the field on that listing in the editor or the bulk grid, exactly as before.
